When Someone Asks AI Who To Hire, Do They Say You?
Your customers are asking ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI for recommendations right now. Most local businesses have no idea whether they come up, and no way to find out.
One fixed fee. Delivered in a week with a 30-minute walkthrough call. And it credits in full toward the Growth Blueprint if you go further.
What Is AI Visibility, And Why Now?
AI visibility is whether tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers recommend your business when somebody asks for one in your category and town. It is the same question as ranking on Google, except almost nobody is measuring it yet.
Here is what makes it urgent. When someone searched Google, they got ten results and picked one. When someone asks an AI, they get three names and a paragraph. If you are not one of the three, you were never in the running, and unlike search results there is no page two to be found on.
The good news is that AI tools mostly pull from signals you already control: your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your listings, and whether your website is written in a way machines can actually read and quote. The businesses fixing this now will be the ones getting recommended for years.
Here Is What We Found About Our Own Business.
Before selling this to anybody, we ran it on Ask8. The results were useful in ways we did not expect.
Prompts where Ask8 appeared at all. Better than we expected, and it told us where we already had traction.
Average position across the prompts where we appeared. Being recommended first, in the queries we were winning.
Generic, non-local prompts where we appeared. AI knew us as a local agency and did not know us as a marketing consultancy at all.
And the finding that surprised us most: on one prompt we appeared twice, under two different business names. The web had been describing us as more than one company for years, splitting our own credibility between versions of ourselves. We would never have caught that without looking.
That is the kind of thing this plan finds. Not vague advice about "AI being important." Specific, fixable problems you cannot see from inside your own business.
Five Parts. All Of Them Actionable.
No fifty page report. A short document you can actually work from, plus a call to walk you through it.
Your AI Baseline
We run the questions your customers actually ask, in your category and your town, across the major AI tools. You see exactly where you appear, where you do not, and who is getting named instead of you.
Entity Health Check
Does the web see you as one business or several? Different names, addresses and phone numbers across directories split your credibility. We find every version of you that is out there and tell you which one to standardise on.
Technical Readiness
Whether your site is structured so AI can read and quote it. Schema markup, an llms.txt file, and whether you are accidentally blocking the crawlers that feed these tools.
Your Question Clusters
The actual questions people ask about what you do, grouped and prioritised. This becomes your content roadmap, and it is the difference between publishing and publishing something that gets quoted.
The Content Specification
How to write so AI cites you. Answer-first openings, question-format headings, FAQ schema, and the depth these tools reward. Follow the spec and your content works. Ignore it and it does not.
Three Steps. One Week.
You Send Us The Basics

We Walk You Through It

Straight Answers.
How do I know if AI recommends my business?
Ask it. Open ChatGPT or Google's AI mode and type the question a customer would ask, something like "best plumber in Huntington NY." If your name does not come up, you are invisible in that conversation. The AI Visibility Plan does this systematically across the questions that matter for your business, and tells you why the results look the way they do.
Is AI search actually sending anyone to local businesses yet?
It is early, and honestly the volume is still small compared to regular search. But it is growing fast and the businesses building the right signals now will be the ones recommended later. This is a get-ahead move, not an emergency. We would rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise.
What is the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO gets your page ranked so somebody can click it. Answer engine optimization gets your business quoted in the answer itself, where there may be no click at all. They overlap heavily, because both run on reviews, listings, profile completeness and clear content. AEO adds structure: writing in direct answers, using real questions as headings, and marking it up so machines can parse it.
Do you write the content for me?
Not as part of this. You get the question clusters and the specification for how to write them. You can hand that to whoever writes your content, do it yourself, or hire us separately. We kept writing out of this so the price could stay where it is.
How is this different from your free Google Business Profile audit?
The free audit scores your Google profile and shows you a local heatmap. It is genuinely useful and you should run it. This goes further: it tests you across AI tools, audits how the whole web describes your business, checks whether your site is machine readable, and hands you a content plan. Free tells you where you stand. This tells you what to do.
Who is this for?
Any local business that gets customers from search. It works especially well for solo agents, loan officers and one-person service businesses who want to move on this without committing to a full marketing plan. If you have a team and real revenue, look at the Growth Blueprint instead, since this is included in it.
